If you failed your NYPD Psychological Test and received a Notice of Proposed Disqualification (NOPD), you have the right to appeal. There are two crucial factors when appealing a Psychological Disqualification. The first is that you properly follow the appeal process. The second is the facts of your case.

It is vital that you consult with seasons professionals (both an appeals attorney and a Mental Health Professional – MHP) who are highly qualified and experienced in this type of appeals process. It is never a good idea to appeal a NOPD on your own, as doing so may cause you to leave out some crucial arguments that could help to turn the appeal in your favor.
